I think it is wise for you to, since you have just completed hsc, and are going into a whole different academic arena...even i am in 3rd year and i still go to all my first lectures because you pick up things you might not have from the unit outline which are pointed out to you by the lecturer.

Hey....

on a similar note...(i think)
Most of my lectures are in the afternoon and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to go to uni from 9am-6pm 3 times a week as part of my good 'time management' strategy. Would I not concentrate on the lectures and tutorials properly and feel tired?

umm.... i got 3 days!!! 2 of the days its from 9-5pm :D

All i can say is that the first few weeks will be difficult to adjust,kind of a transition period.

Yes, definately go. It's when you get to know your lecturers. Though, they usually put on a different face than what they are actually like. It's still important to go, because if you can't go then it's indicative of what your attitude is going to be like through the whole degree.
