your handwriting is fine! especially since it looks like it was done in exam/assessment conditions.
Hehe, that was an extract of my Cold War essay for modern trials when i was panicking because i didn't have time to go over that entire topic XD

EWWWWWWWWWWWW

lol jks jks.

it aint that bad, I go worse sometimes (e.g. towards the end of an essay :))
LOL, that's about as bad as i get :)

Your handwriting was actually very readable...and I assure you mine looks nothing like that, so it wasn't any easier for me to read it than anyone else.
<3 unbiased opinions ^^

Handwriting has, of course, to be legible to be read. If it's not legible and can't be read, you will of course lose marks.
This is false, as far as i have heard, each test is checked by 2 markers and if there is a discrepancy, which there no doubt will be due to the neatness, the test will then be taken to a group of head markers who will then read through the paper for the final verdict.

This is what our English teacher suggested on Monday after this question arose.

Yayayayayayay. Thanks guys, you've been repped :D

@OP - post up a sample of your writing. I want to see how neat it really is because i've seen some neat handwriting and they don't get any extra marks at all.

Is anyone brave enough to post up a sample of their writing, if they think it's really bad?
haha anna, ill post mine tonight @ 6:30. i do believe mine is bad. ill let you be the judge.. :D

I think my handwriting is quite horrible, especially when i'm writing like the wind.

You can see an example of my handwriting by clicking here.

Is it legible enough for me not to worry about it?
your handwriting looks like mine, except mine's maybe a bit worse

Interesting. Do you do your "z" running writing style so it looks like a 3 to some people as well? I had to swap mine to that style because in 4U i kept getting my 2s and my Zs (which represent a complex number) wrong XD

Ok, I'll post mine,

I'll post my normal, stress free class handwriting (well, these are just some notes...)
http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/8708/scan0003we.jpg

compared to my crazy adrenelin fuelled exam writing, which is utterly abysmal and illegible
http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/9459/scan0001j.jpg
And even worse...

Ha.
Aha, i love how the writing gets gradually worse and worse. But i can read it all ^^

ok here is my interesting handwriting LOL!:

you will need to increase the screen to read it in full size (ctrl +) :) due to my shit scanner :D
That's pretty bad, but still very legible. Are you by any chance a leftie? XD

That's my English teacher's preferred example of my handwriting, from Year 11 sometime. I believe he's shown it to other classes as his definition of illegibility :p

(It's improved since, and on the massive HSC writing booklet lines it's rather hard to write that badly...)

Lol

growing up requires conscious decisions and determination. <insert name here> begins the poem with the metaphor of a storm using <bunch of stuff I can't read> representing the troubles and distractions of life. Individual <something> make these decisions to persevere

Wow that was hard

It's hard even for me. :(

"Growing up requires conscious decisions and determination. Paquin begins the poem with the metaphor of a storm using images of pouring rain and lightning flashes representing the troubles and distractions of life. An individual has the power to make these decisions to persevere" - at least, that's what I think I was writing...

Nah, it's fine :)

I just noticed that it slanted to the left instead of the usual right. I think i've been watching too many detective/crime shows ahaha.

I know a guy in my physics class whose writing was so messy the teacher refused to mark his trial.
Oh and apart from the writing itself, occasionally my sentences stop making sense if I write too fast. :( Anyone else in the same boat?
