Lesbians are heavily influenced by Satan causing them to sin and then disguising it, making them think it's their own thoughts. They need to find Jesus' love and infinite mercy to be free from evil sin

If someone, such as my homosexual Catholic friend, has already sought Jesus' "love and infinite mercy" and wanted to be 'normal', then why do they still have homosexual tendencies?

Could it be:

a) Satan.
b) God works in mysterious ways.
c) Because they were born that way.

Let us evaluate these three options in turn.

If it is a), then after finding forgiveness, the 'affliction' should stop, and heterosexuality should prevail.

If it is b), then... well... God only be must be acting out a hilarious imitation of a council worker and deliberately tricking us mere mortals into thinking that he's useless, whilst secretly working to promote some unfathomable act of goodness.

If it is c), then it explains why seeking comfort and forgiveness from Jesus still can't change inborn (that's right, INBORN) sexual orientation.

Occam's Razor dictates that the answer is...

The greatest deception of the world, was Satan convincing the world he doesn't exist and tempt them to sin. I am not judging who you are, but simply saying that God sees this "lust of the flesh" as a huge mortal sin. The last thing that I want is to put you down, but you gave your opinion on me and I gave my opinion on this thread.

I also knew a Catholic friend who was very dear to me, and he was homosexual. Then about 6 months ago he truely prayed and believed in Jesus' miraculous power and asked for strength to be led away from Satan's temptations. He isn't gay anymore, and I definately know it. Christians and Catholics are just as susceptible to being tempted by the devil, and he'll decieve and manipulate the whole situation, thinking it's God that created you with this sexual orientation. If He did, why would he condemn it in the bible, saying not only is it immoral but they will never inherit the kingdom of God. Yes he was Catholic, but he was also a big sinner, even in the smallest way. Maybe this could provide some explanation as to why your Catholic friend is homosexual, because he really hasn't given all his heart and soul to the Lord Saviour,and not confessed his sins to a priest for forgiveness form Jesus.

Also, are you sure your friend was gay to begin with? Maybe he just tricked himself into thinking he was.

Really, I wish people like you were born homosexual. It's all so easy to tell someone else to seek forgiveness and find redemption in the process, but I'd like to see how you would have fared in the same position.

In this hypothetical situation, would you have really turned straight after communing with God? Or would you have just tricked yourself into thinking that you don't actually like men? Like I said, this sort of thing is inborn, and if your friend truly, honestly managed to change his ways and feel better about himself, then good.

But still, I remain highly skeptical about his allegedly homosexuality to begin with. And, if he actually was gay, whether or not he truly does like girls now.

Watch your back(side) is all I'm saying.

I find it not hot, it's very dangerous for anybody to have any sort of homosexual relationship as they may well be denied entry to the kingdom of God. People think "who cares I'm here on earth now, might as well just live it up and satisfy myself," but your going to be without God God for eternity If you don't seek his help in this.
