i just wanted to know, is anyone else in the same boat as me?

Im doing the hsc this year and i'm absolutely fucked as to what to do after school! i dont even know what im interested in! i have no aspirations... just want a job that pays good. i can get fairly good marks i think, but i dont know if i want to go uni or whatever! its abit scary, i always get asked "so what do you want to do when you finish?" and all i can reply with is "umm i dunno?!"

i know many people who have just finished hsc and still dont know whether the uni course they have got into is right for them.....as you progress through your hsc studies you will discover things that you like and what you dislike so it gives you a rough guideline to what you might be looking to study in tertiary education all the best for this year

The only think i would suggest to you guys. Is don't go to a course on your UAI otherwise you might end up as an astrophysicist who's main interest is fucking anthropology or something. Even if you don't have direction don't go with the flow, do what you want to do. That being said i've got an aim as to what i want to do that has only surfaced recently.

a writer? that requires half decent english skills. i only do standard. i am certainly not one of those english/history type people. my subjects consist of sciences and factual type subjects. but im still not that smart. i aim for about an 80ish UAI. not that i have any idea what do do with that ranking.... its just that i think i can get that and dont want to be disappointed!
