Also on the topic, meeting people on trains is awkward as fuck on my line since the whole carriage is super duper quiet. Even on the bus its awkward but probs better (I should initiate more bus convos with randoms but ceebs).

Nup its completely silent at the times I catch the train. Then again I catch the train at random times everyday.

When its packed its actually surprisingly silent. When its empty its silent. When its half full, then its usually loudest (weird I know).

Coming back everyone is probably tired.
And if you catch it in the morning, especially at our station, it is LOUD. Well at least my train is.
