Macquarie Law has so many vacancies this year. WTF? (1 Viewer)

Hey all I was browsing the 2011 University offers liftout that came with the Sydney Morning Herald and I couldn't help but notice that all of Macquarie's combined law degrees, strangely enough, have vacancies this year.

Does this in any way mean that the demand for graduates from such a course is on the down or is it as a result of a downturn in the international student market?

I think both are plausible theories though I'd guess the first one.

It does tend to happen but wait until the late round offers. Usually all the places get filled up and the ATAR goes to about 98. They pretty much dont offer as many places as they know that for the people who missed out for law at USYD, UNSW and to a degree UTS will end up coming to Mac. That is my theory anyway lol

i concur, mq sucks. ive been here since 08 i hate it here. got accepted at UTS woot!!!
