Are the offers usually at night? I would have expected 9am, not 9pm on the 17th :/

No, because the UAI requirement increases.

A friend of mine doing social sciences got her dad to manage her preferences etc. He thought that it didn't matter what order he put them in, so he put UWS first, UNSW second etc. She would have got into UNSW, but because he put UWS first, she had to go to UWS. With later round offers, the UAI increased substantially and her UAI was not high enough.

Secondly its a bitch because if the preferences were done properly in the first place, she wouldnt have to get a credit average to transfer. If she couldnt do it herself, surely she should have got someone who knew what they were doign to do it?
