The main difference I'm seeing is Re: ThreadTitle is missing from posts done with the app.

So everything in this thread posted with it is missing Re: Mobile version of BoS?

Yeah that's one of the main things which is missing and it's missing no matter which thread you post in, and yeah it's pretty good, nice, clean, fast, reliable (mostly anyway, does get some errors).

Yeah I don't think it works both ways. If you want something relatively reliable, fast and lite then you're obviously going to have to forgoe some features. Also keep in mnid this isn't designed to be your main point of access to BoS, but merely a secondary mobile option.
