Not too bad. "How both sustain interest" is pretty damn general. Innit.

you cant really judge by the amount of pages some1 writes. It can only be a guide. Looking at past answers i say people who wrote 4-5 words a line. I myself write more like 7-8.

Just coz some1 writes 15 pages doesn't mean that wrote more or better stuff than some1 who wrote 8-10 pages.

Yeah I second that. I'm doing WW/M too, and i didn't really like the question, but I think I did relatively well with it. We'll see.

Blr/BNW ended up being pretty good for the question really..... very easy to get the links between the two texts.

Yeah same texts for me too. I discussed how nature v. nuture is a continuing debate and how these two principles will affect the natural world and humanity. so it sustains meaning by always being relevant.

I cant believe I remembered all my quotes :D

Am I the only one who was completely and utterly thrown? It took me more than 20 minutes to get into the swing of things, and I wasn't exactly under-prepared (every past paper done and then some).

Ah well. Talked about empathy, relevance, allegorical nature etc. etc.

Question was a bit strange, but still general. Pretty happy using WW/Malouf on this question, but didn't write fast enough to get all my points in.

Brave New World is the only novel I have ever fully read in english.

I enjoyed the question, I spoke about how the two texts similarly represent man's relationship with the natural world and how, through techniques and characters, sustains our interest. The only negative part about it was that I didnt mention "soma" at all and maybe context study was weak, but the question didnt really allow for much discussion of context. It was really text-centred if you know what I mean, sustaining interest and all. I did well there.

I did poo in sections 2 and 3 but I dont care, section 1 felt good.

both of the english exams were very ambiguous and general though. am i the only one who see this?
