What's this anti-labor everything feeling I'm seeing here? Sure the NSW state government sucks and is corrupt but so far I the Federal government's doing better than Howard's one.

I'm certainly VERY glad that Iemma's finally gone and I really think its time for a change in NSW government, but don't lay their slackness on the Federal ALP, as they're completely different (in my humble opinion).

Overall I think that something needs to be done with the state of our State Government. I think NSW Liberal will probably do better than NSW Labor, yet they really both suck at the moment. Besides, is there really a need for state governments these days? With current technology there is no need for a system that was made 100 years ago when there was none of the computing power we have now. It is true, however, that given too much power a federal government may be dangerous and scary when corrupt, though.

They've been in government for a year now. What other than workchoices and symbolic gestures do you think they've done that's good?

well its a bit hard not to have that attitude when all you get from the NSW liberals are media releases condemning the government...

how are they expecting to get voters if they arent offering anything?

ill be 18 next election and ill be voting greens - at least they have proper and sensible policies

Okay what else do we have?

Silly internet filter that will slow down our internet and make us opt-out to be able to view porn, all in the name of 'protecting kids'.

A moronic alcopops tax.

A 'Luxury Cars' tax which could have been used to get us to buy more fuel efficient cars but instead is just a punishment for choosing to spend your money on a car instead of a yacht.

Artistic freedom curbed.

A laughable target for cutting emissions.

More of the same economic policy.

Fuel Watch.

Groceries Watch.

and perhaps a real increase in industrial disputes.
