twilight and everything even mildly associated with twilight
i agree i hate twilight i want to start a bonfire using all the books and stuff in that twilight series. stupid trying to make a love story more interesting by putting in vampires. learn to write properly if you want to make it interesting.

Twilight

Not beacuse it's such a bad book by itself (but it's not good or even passable either), but mainly beacuse of the fanbase and it's overrated. Same thing can be said about the Harry Potter and the Eragon series IMO.

*sigh* they just don't make real fantasy/supernatural/gothic novels anymore.

spot on post.

except the last sentence; i daresay fantasy is pretty much in a golden era; there's so much diversity and a wealth of talented authors running around.

The most annoying books would have to be Twilight, the Time Machine and Letters to Alice!

Any of those stupid scientologist books, or any other weird religion for that matter.

Breaking Dawn.

I love the variety you get in fantasy, its so open ended atm.
For anoying books, anybody read lord of the flies....or anything trying to persuade you to join a cult

'The Trial' by Franz Kafka, I wouldn't call it a bad book though since the oppressive writing is intentional, but those 10 comma sentances that take up an entire page drive me up the fucking wall.

The Plague by Albert Camus.
Not that I didn't like it, it was just really hard to get through.
