i dotn think there is one, but the right combination easy to understand, good at explaining concepts, easy to ask questions and friendly.

Yeah, being able to actually teach.
And being nice. I never learn anything from intimidating teachers because I'm too busy being intimidated by them to actually learn anything.
I learn best when teachers make jokes :D

This was my 9-10 maths teacher, scarey as fuck, I didn't learn shit cos I was too worried he was gunna eat me.

Friendly doesn't matter. The MOST IMPORTANT quality is the ability to teach and a teaching degree. The best teachers are usually older.

i learn best off scary teachers who really know their stuff, because they tend to be the most concise and particular about the finer points... there's heaps of people who don't like those teachers because they're too intimidating, impatient and a lot of the time aren't especially nice people
but yeah, scary ftw.
