I have a cousin in Sydney that did 18 units for his HSC a couple of years ago, and thats in the ONE year! Apparently he went 2 school from like 8 - 5 every day!

Is this possible.....or am i just really gullible......i mean no offense to him, but he's the type of guy that revolves 24/7 around study/school work/research.....so it would not seem out of the ordinary.

Who else knows of anybody else with a rediculously high amount of units 4 the HSC?

like 4 maths, 4 eng, 2 hist + ext etc..

I do 13 and that's the most at my school this year... I thought thtere was some guy that did like 22 and got in the top band for all of them or something

heh... well, I know I guy who's doing 4U Maths, English (Adv) + Ext 1, Physics, Chem, Business Studies and Philosophy. That's 15.

well its not gonna b over one year...coz he's doin' a distinction course...so it doesn't matter.

Umm in 2001 (i think) there was a guy from Ruse who did 24 units, got band6 for 22 of them, and got 100 too. Crazy....

note: 6 of these units were accelerated.

Well id have 2 applaud the person that did it....nd gee receiving 100 UAI.....damn with all those courses and the perfect UAI they could just about ask any university to pay them as much as they wanted 2 teach them. lol.

But aren't the distinction courses still done in yr12?

bio
and he's appyling for distinction course.. which most likely he'll getcoz he's accelerated 4 unit maths..
thats 16 units....

Yeah but I think the point made was that you had to be accelerating a subject to do it.
