Post up what you put down in your SOR exams for the multiple choice sections

Note if its for Post 1945 or for Non-Religion

Feel free to discuss/argue away on what you think the answers are!

I didn't take my paper out, but IIRC I got:

1.d
2.c
3.b
4.a
5.c
6.b
7.a
8.b
9.c
10.d

Felt there were far too many which could just as easily have been another.
eg for the initiation one I reasoned that, through the initiation ceremony, the traditional law is passed on...even though it could also be described as a celebration of kinship.

I got:

1. d
2. c
3. b
4. b
5. d
6. b
7. a
8. a
9. c
10. d

5 is definitely Uniting as it's gone from 0% to 5.7% whilst pentecostal has gone from 0.1% to 1.1%

8 is definitely not b IMO, this is not a value of all new age religions, is it?

I thought it was a - They don't really worship a 'God'.

The only one I'm not sure about is 4. From skimming over

http://indigenousaustralia.frogandtoad.com.au/cultural1.html

It does seem the point of an initiation ceremony would just be childhood+adult hood etc.. and the only one that describes that would be kinship relationships, I think - their role in society.

But I don't know about that one.

Ummm i thought question 9. was d but im not sure.

JUst checked my answers and i got the exact same as you except for question 9 lol.
I'm pretty sure It's C

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/adherent

"A person who has membership in some group, association or religion."

But I can see how D might be somewhat related to that, but not really - any person who is a member of a religion is an Adherent.

5 is definitely Uniting as it's gone from 0% to 5.7% whilst pentecostal has gone from 0.1% to 1.1%
But as a result of denominational switching? I'm sure I've heard It's pentecostal - I'll look it up somewhere.

5 is C. Pentecostals was affected the most from denominational switching.
I put A for 4 can anyone confirm the answer for 4?

I can't remember the letters for any except 1 and 10, because I kept changing them! I put d for both, but thought 1 might have been a and 10 c. But I went with my gut instinct, and it looks good to see you all put it too. I think the one on denominational switching was definitely pentecostalists.
