The last page of the quiz is easier than the second imo. 4a you do this thing where z= x- mu/sigma right, because you have the z and x values... (once you've worked them out) then you solve simultaneously to find the mean and standard deviation.

If you looked at stazi's answers for Q2, most of them seem to be wrong :(

No offence, stazi. Also, I'm still stuck from Q4 onwards, my life is the sux :(

yeah - some were incorrect, but others helped actually solve them
last year's paper? You mean the final exam? That's confidential (i.e. you can't remove it from the exam room or face death).

^ I meant last year's one, it is different from this year's one only in question numbering (I think), therefore I'm trying to get answers to this year's quiz handout.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I didn't go today, mainly because I already knew that I would understand nothing. :(

Update: In the last two hours, I've battled my way through the work, and have gotten reasonably satisfactory answers for everything except 6c, 7 and 8

6c - I seriously don't get, how do I predict his score?? I don't see any SD or anything I can use...
