In fact, I have attended several Christian schools, been to Churches and got to know Christians and participated in their activities, and I would say that they tend to be less moral than non-Christians.

Don't you realize that some of the Jewish law in the Bible is based on reason such as that they got sick if they ate certain foods or did certain things, but a lot of it is also quite austere and merely to make themselves different to other cultural groups at the time? I don't care if my argument sounds dodgy, what I'm really trying to say is that morality and organized religion are two different entities altogether.

I agree with you regarding the morals part. The red states in the US are the so called "moral", "good values" states. I believe the blue states have better morales. In the blue states there is less racism, they respect homosexuals, more people are against sending American soldiers off to die in Iraq, they support giving poor people access to health care, etc.

As long as we are separated by religion and culture, we have absolutely no chance of getting along. Every religion has their story of what really happened with Jebus etc (Scientology doesn't really count here), which means every religion effectively says that every other religion is wrong.
