Has to be pretty good.

Not sure if i want a laptop or desktop

just buy a decent laptop/comp for less than 1k and swap it out after 2 years. its more worthwhile than buying a top of the range one for 2k which will probably last you 3 years max.

Really?

I have had this one for almost 6 years and I can pplay almost any game. (However I do take good care with it)

These "notebooks" are really worth the time looking at :

- Toshiba Satellite P870
- Apple Macbook Pro ( w/o Retina Display )
- HP DV7 7XXX Series ( 3rd Gen i7 )
- HP Ultrabook ( aka Sleekbook )

I suggest to you that laptop is better option to purchased because it is easy to carry everywhere and it has so many benefits like you don't need to buy speaker, keyboard, ups, CPU or other device because laptop is a single device which have all computing device in it.

Why not build your own one? You will be saving a lot more money for the same performance that you would get from a pre-made
