I have two pairs of the mexico (black with white stripes and a grey denim version) which i bought at the same time because i love them.
Alternatively, try tokyo rabans? These are def. in at the moment. These or dunlop volleys in black will go well with black jeans.

Yeah, mine have got a whole there as well.
Its the charateristic volley "wear hole". Yep, they usually happen towards the end of its wearing life just when the shoes start to become comfortable and fully molded to suit your feet. In terms of comfort, this is the pinnacle point and unfortunately also the time in which they start falling apart. What a shame.
