Of course they're not but that doesn't mean the corollary is accurate. And no, I wouldn't argue that everyone is entitled to their opinion, someone who has an utterly idiotic opinion based on flawed evidence deserves to be called out for it.

Loose Change is a documentary? By that token I assume you accept Zeitgeist which means your religion is flawed; wait you don't because you did the due diligence.

Not all opinions are valid, particularly not those based on evidence or fact or reason. The 9/11 conspiracy theory has been wholly debunked and at this stage anyone who accepts it or believes it has proven themselves to be an idiot.
I posted some information debunking the criticism levelled against Christianity in Zeitgeist. It's somewhere in the DGE thread can't be bothered trawling through hundreds of pages, but the gist of it is that Christianity never claimed most of the things that Zeitgeist says it did, e.g. it was never claimed that Jesus was born on Christmas day (it's a pagan holiday which was appropriated by the Holy Roman "Catholic" church to accommodate different religious beliefs, a kind of religious syncretism if you will).

Edit: If you provide the source which supposedly debunks the assertions made in Loose Change I'd be willing to consider it. Yes I agree the theory sounds crazy but at the moment it's a whole lot more credible than the official spin we've been conditioned to believe. Just look at the state of affairs in the world today how can you seriously not pause for a moment and suspect that something is terribly wrong?

You've changed. You used to be fair and balanced.
I've never really been 'fair and balanced', simply centrist; I may come off as critical of your posts sometimes, but that's probably just because you're the only self-professed Libertarian who I respect enough to engage with honestly. You know that I'm strongly socially liberal, and strongly economically centrist (I abhor too much government control as much as I do too little).

The thing is, logically a conspiracy theory is a conspiracy theory, regardless of who it came from. But in practice, the world has a definite right lean, politically, which means there's more probability of a right-wing conspiracy theory gaining mainstream notoriety than a left-wing one, which worries me at times.

start with this?

i read through some it, and yeah it seems like all the events were well-documented and thoroughly analysed. when i think about it, yeah i agree if 911 was a government conspiracy i dont think it could go under the radar. even if there are powerful people influencing the media coverage in some way, something this big wouldnt slip through.
It would make a pretty sweet sci-fi film though i reckon..
This summer, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger will take you on the ride of your life! "Mr President we have to get out of here" "i'm not going anywhere" *explosions*
From the directors of the Matrix trilogy, "New World Order" *more explosions*

Because we're not social conservatives.

While we're talking about opium, did you know that Jews control the largest legal opium plantion in the world?

That's right, the Jews rule Tasmania.

How come no other building has ever collapsed from fire?
yeah, the vids had some pretty convincing stuff about that.

lots of demolition experts saying it was like impossible that it wasnt the result of controlled demolition.

i've watched all the vids and even though i dont actually believe them, i found them very interesting to watch

Why don't you believe them, just out of interest?

hmm, basically i think that all things taken into account, something like that could not possibly go unnoticed. the amount of things that would need to be 'swept under the rug', in order for this to continue under world radar, are just innumerable.

i think some things in the videos are based on true concepts, but are exaggerated and distorted to the point of no longer having truth. i do think that the official reports into 9/11 were comprimised a bit by political pressures of the time, but i don't believe that its any vast foulplay, just desperate damage control on the governments part, and you can't really blame them, i wouldnt want to have to make the decisions following an event like that.

also i think that capitalism has given birth to a lot of very greedy people. banking famalies did seek great power, but i don't really think that corruption of that nature, with implications such as the ones described, could possibly have developed unnoticed.

I don't get why the New World Order is a conspiracy theory. It's obviously and blatantly coming towards our children and descendants like a priest on Viagra. There will undoubtedly eventually be a unified world government on Earth. Granted, will take a long time. But it'll be there.
And then we can go pwn some other planets and aliens. Cosmic colonialism ftw.
