newbies seeking help with timetable..LOL (2 Viewers)

ok....this is the subject im going to do for the first semester....so..can someone help me how to read it???? coz they don't have a date on it..only FRI-MON....LOL....

you have the lecture/tut once a week, so all it needs is a day.


You have to pick one of each lecture and tutorial per week for each unit:

E.g. ACGS100. you only have one choice for each lecture, so u have to go to lecture 1 and 2. There are heaps of tuts, so you choose one from tut1.

With ECON110 you have heaps of choices,sp you can pick any day from lecture1, any day from lecture2, anyday from lecture3 and any tut1.

in other words u pick one thing from each heading (lec1, lec2, tut1, prac1, prac2 etc). is that what you wanted to know?

so for accg100........it's on friday...so it's on 28th of feb??? i hope i will get back before that date...but most likely i mite not.....wat will happen if i miss the lessons?

oops.....another question...say accg100 the tuto classes.....and like first week i goto the monday one...but then next week...can i goto the tue or wed or other day's tuto????

Usually for most classes, they dont have tutorials for the first week, and the lectures are only introductory, and can be missed if really needed. (ie, they dont mark the roll during lectures normally, its the tutorials/practicals you want to be careful of)

LOL....so lectures aren't as important as tuto and prac??? i only have one prac..LOL
I just made a timetable.....weekly one...kinda like..going to uni everyday....though i can put accg100's tuto on fri..>LOL~~can anyone check if i make it correct? heaps thanks~~

And it's probably better to put your Monday tute to Friday or something, then you can have a day off And not come all the way to uni just for one lesson.

but maybe as reaver said, you should move than accg100 monday tute to some other day. you don't wanna go to uni just for an hour...

oh and all lessons are important. in lectures you learn the theory, the practicals and tutorials allow you to exercise that theory from the the lectures....

i phoned mq undergraduate office....and the lady told me i can finish all the enrolment on 4th...yeppie~~LOL....she sound kool...just like those office lady....so professional.....

uh you can get a day off. mondays... just more that tutorial.

oh and here's a tip. try not to have so many 1hr breaks. i can't remember if you have some (can't be bothered checking again). you don't get much done in that hour, its not long enough to get good study done or do something else. its basically a waste of time, oh well no, you can use it for socialising....


oh and yeah usyd tends to start a week later than other uni's... they have their orientation week during our first week or uni. don't worry, we make up for that week by getting an extra week of mid semester holidays whereas usyd will have a week less than us...

umm...i think all my timetable are like one hour after the other....so no breaks between.....
u reckon i can bring in a recorder cassette and record the lecture....hahhaah....kinda of a bit lazy.....but i heard my teacher say it's illegal???

i love holidays....LOL then i can go and work~~ekekek

Yeah you can bring in your recording device usually .. check with the lecturer but I'd think most don't mind. Accg100/101 lect especially doesn't mind, he brings it up alot. Some lectures are recorded by the uni too, so check with the library.

Also .. don't we start on 28th Feb...that's a Monday...Friday the 28th is January =p
