Nintendo DS (2 Viewers)

Hello,
I'm thinking about by a nintendo ds...but i dont know too much about the pricing and what people acttually think about them...the only reaosn i'm after one is for the brain games etc..... hahah just for something to do when i'm bored at school or home...... so how are they and where are some good shops to get em from....im also after a gps so i was thinking maybe i could try and get a deal if I by both of them at the same time.... worth a try?

get an r5 (or r4 .. one of them) if u get the ds. download roms off then et, load it onto the SD cards and then play for free. :]

Definitely get an R4 or M3 or one of those flash carts if you get a DS. They retail for around $200, the price doesn't change much between retailers.

Does it matter? As long as it does the job.

That said, pirating games is bad and I don't recommend it for ethical reasons.

Also, $200 is WAY overpriced. I payed ~AU$60 for my R4. If you pay AU$200 you're a freaking idiot.

R4 gets firmware updates more often = better.

It's the same hardware with an extra soldering point anyway.

I only update mine when I try to run a rom and it doesnt work. The last time I updated it was with that final fantasy revanant game, and it turned out all you needed was an action-replay or whatever code to disable the copy-protection.

Oh, I got the R4 for about $50 from HK. Console I got for about $200.

You get a micro SD, plug that into your usb drive, download some roms onto it, plug the micro SD into the R4, then put the R4 into the slot-1 of the DS. It's VERY easy and straight forward.
