What is your job? And more specifically, tell me about last night! Did you find yourself a hawwwwt ladyfriend?

And yeah, I could understand that being on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD would make you feel sort of detached from the friends you've left behind. Family get boring to stay with and talk to. You're screwed :-D

Meh, Dragons ALWAYS have a bad season. Nothing new. Creagh is already out for the first few matches, as is Best AND Matty Head. Supposedly.

Sharks .. well, we'll see. They should be around the same place they were last season. If they can hold off running out of gas for another few weeks during season proper, they could nail a top four spot. But I dunno.

Why look forward to uni? Well, it means I get to see two of my three best friends every day again .. well, four days of the week. It means I get to actually exercise my mind again, which has turned into some sort of mush .. urgh. It means I get to make new friends. It means I get to be away from my family again. It means I get to LEARN. It means freedom. It means fun. It means EVERYTHING.
I'll start with the question about my job.
Ok, so I really dont do much, I just fold envelopes sort letters, file reports etc. Pretty much just jobs you would do in reception. Then at 12:30 I clock out and do what i want provided its not a Monday or Wednesday because those are My training days. Thats right, Im a coach....

As for the ladies, uhh no. Not exactly. Im terrible at reading the ladies hahahaha... actually thats really not a laughing matter. I'm not good at approaching them, but as soon as they find out your foreign they all talk to you so its good. And a girl I know through a family friend has alot of Hawt friends and she said they want to take me clubbing, So if/when that happens I'll be a happy man. Boy, I'm off the track...

Your 100% right about family. I have 2 cousins i like chilling with. One of them has invited me to a party tonight and im going out with the other one on Monday night. Those two guys keep me sane. Otherwise I would have to kill myself.

As for Dragons, well, without Colin Best your team is nothing, so with him out I predict bad losses for the red and white.

And the sharkies... well, yeah I hope they can make top 8 again. I'll be happy with that. I think they will try and get a better hold on the season than last year. However having the bye in the first week always sucks IMO.

Seems like you really are psyched for Uni. Im sure you'll enjoy it heaps if you already have 2 of your best friends there. I'm going to Maquarie but I hardly know anyone else going there. The people from my school are mostly goung to U Syd or UTS. But At least Maquaries reasonably close to my house... still, I'd rather be with my friends.

Anywho, I understand your excitement now, and i hope you have a great time at uni.

As for season 06, provided Dykes stays with the sharks I think we can push for a top 4 spot..... we've got some decent players in the side this season and we can only hope that in the times where they need to dig deep they will draw some inspiration from the legacy of Steve Rogers! If Dykes goes, I cant see us doing much without a specialist 5/8 and putting in Vagana.......... not only cos he cant keep up with the physical demands (Eg Finals against Dragons, he was struggling after 20mins) but because we are already struggling for decent centres and we cant afford him not to be their!

On Dykes, I think he will stay.... there are rumours he will go to the panthers, but I think the bad times at the club have passed and hes settling back in (I HOPE SO AT LEAST!)
haha what decent players? we had dykes last year with what i think is a better lineup than this year, and we scraped into the eight and left in the first week. the problem is the evil man raper, who in all honesty has no idea!

He will still coach, regardless.

The players would WANT to play well for Brian Smith.

I cannot see the logic in every Parramatta fan thinking they are history in 2006.

I think Dragons and Eels will be the top two at the end of the regular season again. Cowboys might push, and Broncos will probably lead the competition at the halfway stage again.

A better lineup than this year? You have to be joking. For most of our losses, we've gained a players of equivalent talent or better!

Some brief examples:

Stevens -> Ross (Equivalent)
Retard Goldy/SlowMellor -> Pomeroy (Better)
No Heart Merritt -> Albert (WAY Better)
Nutley -> Thompson (Equivalent)

We also got rid of crap players like Isemonger, Galloway etc. Even Peacheys letting go was reasonable because they are taking a new direction which is evident in the players they have bought (The way it was conducted however was the part to be disappointed about).

IMO the sharks have always been prity smart when it comes to deciding on who to let go, the only real loss in the last two years I recon was Jason Kent who I thought was a decent player who could fit in anywhere in the backline, Nutley I wouldnt regard as a bad decision because they were just doing whats right by him, he got a big offer which he couldnt refuse. The problem is that our club is shyte when it comes to getting NEW players to joint the club, last season for example was a disgrace is terms of requisitioning new talent. I feel however that 06 is different, Albert, Ross and Thompson in particular are quality signings something we havent seen to much in the past years!

So for these reason I would say if we keep Dykes, he would have a more profound impact with a better forward pack moving the ball up and a WAY better backline finishing the tries off. Some might say 'Oh Simmons this and Simmons that' well I feel personally that he can make it as a good full back, but I will reserve my judgement on this matter until I see him actually play their at the first grade level.

As for Raper, I think he made both good AND bad decisions, hopefully in 06 he limits the amount of bad ones especially in relation to the interchange.

If the sharks play well it will be because they are phsyched up to win for the late steve rogers. here is what i think the table will be in 06:

1.Roosters (want it the most)
2.Broncos
3.Tigers
4.Knights (the big improvers)
5.Storm
6.Cowboys
7.Sea Eagles
8.Sharks
9.Rabbitohs (new spirit)
10.Eels (coaching problems)
11.Dragons (player roster problems)
12.Warriors
13.Raiders (just plain shit)
14.Panthers (Gower not captain)
15.Bulldogs (no Anasta)

Are you kidding me? There was a collective sigh of relief in Belmore when Anasta left. Finally, someone good might actually be 5/8 (or not, but hey, here's to hoping).

I come bearing gifts:

Sonny Bill to miss start of NRL season
Monday, February 13, 2006 - 12:03 PM

Injury-prone Bulldogs forward Sonny Bill Williams will miss the start of the NRL season after developing stress fractures in his feet.

Club doctor Hugh Hazard said the 20-year-old Kiwi international would be sidelined for six weeks.

It's a bitter pill to swallow for Williams, who is still undergoing rehabilitation for a serious knee injury suffered in round 13 last season.

He was expected to play in the season opener against Penrith on March 11 before his latest setback.

"He's pretty devastated," said club spokesman Chris O'Brien.

Williams played just five NRL games last year after tearing cartilage in his right knee in his comeback match from an ankle injury.

It was a far cry from his sensational rookie year in 2004 when he burst onto the scene in the NRL at age 18 en route to a premiership with the Bulldogs and made his Test debut for New Zealand.

Williams' immense talent is beyond question but rugby league fans have rarely had the chance to watch him in action.

He has played just 20 first grade games over two years because of a litany of injuries to his 102kg body.

To cap a horror 2005, in November his licence was suspended for five months and he was fined $700 - on top of a $5,000 fine from his club - for a low-range drink-driving offence.

The Bulldogs' pre-season trials will take on more importance for coach Steve Folkes as he decides who will replace the sizeable shoes of Williams.

The Dogs take on Cronulla in Mollymook on Saturday and New Zealand Warriors on the Gold Coast a week later.

Wow, how shocking. I must say, he was soooo worth $400, 000.

The bulldogs are totally screwed without Anasta, anyone who begs to differ is kidding themselves!

As for the sharks, I feel if they have a good year (ie All the players peform to their ability and crucially Kimmorley plays well) we will be alot higher than 8. We finished around their last year with IMO a hopeless side with no heart, both those things have changed in 06

They are equivalent. Nutley has things stamina etc over Thomspon but then Thompson has things like Mobility over Nutley. So overall they are very close.

I think we are in for an ok year to be honest, the club has gone through its rebuilding phase for the past couple of years slowly building up with decent players and letting go the shyte..... this year is the culmination of careful selection over the years and I think we can field a very compeititve side, and the passing of sludge will fuel our year (And in Thompsons case, wanting to beat the Stains will). The only hurdle we face is the players actually performing to their ability for once, if they can do this we will be unbeatable (Especially if Kimmorley plays well) because we have talent all over the park.

Yeah, totally. Roosters will kick ass this year. I think the Knights will do really well this season, that is if Joey doesnt screw up like he usually does. I still think Rabbitohs will get the wooden spoon like they do every other year. And bulldogs are screwed. mwhahhah

Storm are screwed. With Walker and Crocker, theyre totally fucked.

i think the panthers will get the spoon and broncos the number 1 spot, followed by knights, dragons, and sadly the roosters and cowboys...possibly tigers, hopefully eels.

brogan wtf! who cares! such a waste of space...
