30% make up their minds in the last week? Seriously, I'm part of that. I'll be a lot clearer on Saturday. Probably vote for either of the major parties.

Thanks for your links.

L.A. : Liberal, Fishing Party, CDP, Greens, Labor respectively.

The seat is held by the ALP by 20%, and that's not changing any time soon (hasn't since 1894).

L.C. : Liberals/Nationals, might number every single box for amusement.

I timed my return well.

Electorate: Penrith

L.A: 1. Australian Democrats; 2. Labor; 3. The Greens; 4. Liberal; 5. The independent candidate; 6. Australians Against Further Immigration; and 7. Christian Democratic Party (Fred Nile Group). Fred Nile's recent comments made the decision regarding spots 6 and 7 easier on the mind.

L.C: Below the line. First will be Arthur Chesterfield Evans (Australian Democrats), then the remaining 14 will be divided between other candidates for the Australian Democrats and Labor.

Edit (L.C., below the line, each box numbered): I'm not a fan of the Greens in general and Lee Rhiannon in particular, so I see no reason to preference the Greens as a part of my 15, even for the sake of parliamentary diversity. That said, on the day I may decide to go all the way and number each box below the line, and if I do take such an approach my order will be as above followed by the Coalition, the Greens (without Lee Rhiannon the Greens would be before the Coalition), random groups and the independents, Save Our Suburbs, The Shooters Party, Socialist Alliance, Australians Against Further Immigration and finally Fred Nile's Group (with Fred Nile being last on the sheet).

In general, for as long as they are around the Australian Democrats will receive a one on my ballot sheets, and the fact that the Liberals are dominated by the conservatives means that I'm unwilling to lodge a meaningful protest vote in the Assembly or a moderating vote in the Council. Though the ALP is my two-party-preferred party of choice, in this particular election it would be best to say that I'm preferencing the lesser of two evils.

Voting Intentions: show up and get my name ticked off

i have zero interest in politics and i believe that voting for someone, in an almost random manner, would be an insult to this great democracy of ours.

Electorate: Drummoyne (ALP)

Swing Needed 8.7%; virtually impossible

Sitting member receieved 47% of the primary vote in 2003, which would be extremely hard to reverse

Legislative Assembly: 1 Liberal (Greg Long)

Legislative Council: 1 Group E (Liberal/Nationals)

Electorate: A very very very safe liberal one. The Liberal party would cease to exist if they lost my seat.

Voting intentions

Lower house: ALP - preferences, no idea. How I feel on the day.

Upper: ALP.

Just so your all aware that unlike the Federal election, this is optional preferential system. You don't have to give preferences or follow how to vote cards, just stick a one, cross or tick in one of the boxes (i do realise your meant to put a one but i'm doing the electoral stuff and it will be a formal vote if you just make a clear mark in one box).

I'll be voting lib, not that its going to matter, barley gets to preferences in the seat of Sydney. Hopefully most people will vote Liberal and not stick with a party. I can't see how NSW can forgive the current labor Government. The question posed should be, what ha they achieved? 13 years and not one notable achievement - Olympics were won under the previous Gov. Add to that what have they ruined. Interesting list.

I also find it odd that the Labor party can comment on Debnam's economic credentials when none of the Labor front bench have done anything except be a politician. Strange it was not taken to them - guess that's why Debnam will probably lose, he's too nice.

I think it's about 13% to Labor.
I'll be voting Liberal although at this point I don't know why I am bothering.

If they lose I won't be voting for them again.

The liberals really screwed up with this 20,000 job cuts policy. I was talking to a girl this week who was going to vote Labor because of it. They aren't actually going to cut 20,000 jobs, they are just not going to rehire people in redundant positions and are actually creating more jobs in areas that need them (like nurses and police). The fact that they haven't explained this to people confuses me.

Maybe that's because it's a lie.

And there aren't 20,000 beureaucratic jobs in NSW available to cut, Liberal douchebags, so quit trying to fool people.
