I have One Textbook (Jacaranda) for each science in the H.S.C topic + Dot Point (Investigations + Standard).

For Maths, I bought pretty much all of them.

No books/study guides for English

One for Physics, one for Chemistry, two for Maths. English, just the texts provided from the school.

Man, this is depressing.
I have never bought a non-school text book.
Wait no, that's not right. I bought one off a friend who accidently bought 2 of the same one. This is scary.
I'm thinking... last minute New Years book shopping?

I bought a few from 2008 year 12's. School organised a day for them to come in and sell their books. Real cheap.

I'm an impulse buyer, so I ended up getting 3 HSC Legal Studies textbooks. I'm not sure if I'm even going to be keeping the subject for the HSC. Couldn't help it. They were only $20.

i find that for english study guides are useless if you're aiming for a high band 6. doing all the work yourself in your own way (with teachers and friends as guidance) is the best

yea my parents didn't really stop at the $$$. i needed to choose correctly. lawl

Here's how many books I use:

3 Mathematics Extension 1 books
2 Physics Text books
2 Chemistry Text books
2 Biology Text books

I'm planning on getting:

3 Mathematics Extension 2 textbooks (I really want Terry Lee's one!)

Are there any good English textbooks out there? I find most like Excel and Macquarie to be useless.
