O Week (2 Viewers)

it's pretty $#!T that we have classes on O-week, that does not happen in USYD or UNSW. But yea, the lectures are running on O-week, not many tutes is going to be on, the only stuffs I know on the first week is ACST200 tute (B***dy lecturer gave us holiday tute questions!) and COMP225 pracs. I don't think First-year students have their tutes in first week except ACST151.

But where do you find out if your tutorials are running in the first week or not??

for first year students, they will tell you that in lectures (there should be NO tutes before lecture for first year subjects), so don't worry about tute before lectures.

for second year and onwards, check blackboard or the unit website.

ya i do aswell for the subject CUL 101, i got a tutorial before my firsdt lecture (tut is on wed lect is on fri)

According to the 09 student survival guide:

23rd-26th: O-week
2nd march: tutes and pracs start.

for first years, i mean if your tute is before the lecture then you DO NOT have tutes first week, just ignore it and attend them in the 2nd week.
