Yeah, you simply repeat it, or take another unit. You can overload if you want to repeat it.

"take another unit" what do you mean?

say if there's a s2 unit you need to take with a s1 pre-requisite that you fail... what happens then?

Woo, pretty much finished my exam, just need to do a bit of editing.

My Islam and heresy sections are pretty bad, but what the hell. If he's asking for reference to four specific individuals in 500 words he can't be expecting detail.

ok, let's say that you took SEXY1001 - something you're taking as an elective. And since you're not very sexy, you fail. You don't have to take it again. You can just take GHAY1001 in place of it next year.

If SEXY1001 is a prerequisite for SEXY1002, then you won't be able to take SEXY1002 without departmental permission if you fail 1001. Often they don't grant you that permission. So, ultimately, you'll probably have to extend your degree by another year (especially if you're majoring in that subject)

the great thing about arts units is that most of the prereqs are just "12 junior CP in [subject area]" so if you fain a first year hist you overload second sem with an extra first year hist, the senior unit doesnt care what junior unit you did as long as you did it. but yeah if a specific unit is prereq you just have to wait it out like stazi said

tough luck on not downloading the notes triangulum, word got around our mdst tute pretty quickly last year that he takes them down so download them before stuvac.

my take homes are going crap. lost about 1500 of drafts when my sister unplugged my laptop. thankfully my outlines are still there and i know it in my head but motivation to write is gone. all nighter for me. have 2 of my 5 questions done. each one is about 500-750 words.

You're not going to do 1102? Booo. The lecturers are awesome, and the heavy emphasis on organic chemistry (over half of the course!) makes it fun Fun FUN!

I love organic chem.
