Out of interest, are there any others that had SAM predict their UAI exactly? It seems like I'm the odd one out so far. Good ol' SAM had it down to the last 0.05.

this is my 1st ever post at BOS

but basically i got
2007 UAI: 96.7
and the albert einstein thing said 97.6.

I needed 88 UAI, and i though i wasnt gonna get that. so i panicked and applied for TAFE just incase, LOL!!

but my ultimate goal was 92

So i was estatic:
i did Eng adv, eng ext, maths adv, maths ext, legal, modern, and society

SAM predicted that I would get approx mid 70's... Most possibly due to me using my (Complately shit) trial marks. And SAM wouldn't open for me yester, so I had no clue what my UAI would look like >.>;

Ended up with 93.2 and am happy with that XD

Congrats to everyone. Hope you're all pleased with your result. Woah, competition is fierce this year; So many 95+'s o.o

Statisitically,

THe higher uai students drop out compared to the students in the 70s and 80s

lol your uai means nothing from day 1 of uni

noone really cares about your UAI once you step foot into uni, so theres nothing to be ashamed of if your UAI is lower than other people. You can do just as well regardless of what UAI youve got.

Although UAI means nothing once you get into uni, it means a whole lot to get in in the first place.

Thats why im upset about my UAI but as soon as i find a way into my course i will never ever think of it again. =]

SAM ripped me off! its wierd, it seems like it was so accurate for everyone else...maybe the scaling in my subjects has changed dramatically...

i did aboriginal studies, english adv, modern history, 2 unit religion, 2 unit maths, ext hist, ext 1 english

I got the same UAI as you but I envy your state rankings in ancient and hist ext - they were my favourite subjects, I came 19th in the state for Ancient and 7th in the state for Legal. Ancient - 98, Modern 96, history ext 92(happy but wanted more), english advanced 96 (ecstatic), english ext 1 90 (disappointed - saved by my assessment mark - what happened at the marking centre???? My friend got 98 and i usually equal him) Legal studies - 97.

Congrats to all - UAI 99.85 - course - Ancient History (Honours) - Macquarie University - hoping to get a scholarship.
