According to the UAC Guide (pg 336), the projected cut-off for 2005 is 86.50. Of course, this is only an estimate. BTW none of this should really be in this thread but you have private messaging turned off.

yes you do...plus there's an extra section for extra special people who get over 90 in 10 or more units (english not necessarily included). Will I be seeing your name?

I haven't talked to everyone, but as far as I know dux was Dan Wills, and he got 98.45 from memory. His predicted UAI from SAM yesterday was 99.1, so we all expected him to get dux.

By the looks of the distinguished achievers list no one will beat that, the next highest was about 97.5 I think.

hmm, using UAISeeker, I came up with 94-95.xx, but I was conservative so I didn't dissapoint my sister.

Man I'm screwed, 71.35, I can't get into ANYTHING!

Is there any way to do something at TAFE for a year to get into science at uni? Any help would be appreciated right now since I need to start thinking about what I'm going to do.

Maths killed me. I'm at that point now where I really want to go back in time and repeat everything, because in all honesty I could have done MUCH better, if only I had put the effort in. Could have possibly even got in the 90s but it's too late now.

So....any chance of any science subjects dropping about 10 points in the cut-offs?

Correction. That's what -most- people choose when they get a high UAI. :) Anyone ever told you that sweeping generalisations aren't only wrong, but insulting?
