I win...our school is doing Coleridge in every class...except mine! Turns out our teacher really likes Ted Hughes and wanted to do him for Module C, so somehow this means we had to do OGS for AOS.

i never said difficult, i have managed to make a sufficient essay on imaginative journeys from it.

but it still sucks i mean why the hell cwould they choose a physics set of biographies. Was the english-syllabus-chooser-person sleeping with a physics teacher or something?

my consolation is that post october 19th i will NEVER EVER critically analyse another great book and thereby ruin it (not that OGS is great)

I Hear You

it is THE worst freaking book i have ever laid eyes on let alone ever not bothered to read because i trust the opinions( and the essays) of my comrades and honour the mistake they made by actually reading this pile of crap to .
I go to a performing arts school and youd think that they might have dissmissed this boring archaich load of old man drivel as just that but NOOOOOOOOOO they had to subject us poor burdend inaginative journeyd students too it. did u know that only 700 candidates did that book last year? and i bet they got band 2s!
id like to go on an imaginative journey and dispose of this book.

well it isn't the *hardest* book, I found it an enjoyable read. Oh and if anyone does history ext here - Bragg doubles up as a resourceful historian.

Thankyou.

Thankyou, Thankyou, THANKYOU!

We've just started OGS, and I can't for the life of me get my head around the Imaginative-Journeyness of it. I've bookmarked your helpful thread and hopefully will refer to it quite regularly. :)
