yo.
the first cruise last year was perfect... everyone got along, the ratio of girls to boys was 6-4 and it just went off. at least until after vila.... the first 4 nights were unbrlievable, the back deck was packed, adn vila is awesome.... after that it died down a bit prob cos people started running out of money... it couldnt get any better than last year and the bad thing about this year is that neither of the cruises goto vila... far and away the best place in the south pacific... ive heard theyre having trouble filling this years cruises, its easy to get on atm... im hanging out for a bargain to come again... itll be my 4th straight schoolies cruise and they keep getting better.

Primary school math would tell you that that's the eqivalent to 3:2...and when giving ratios, it should be done in the most simplified form possible.

The Pacific Sun's club doesnt open onto the deck :( I'm gald I got to go on the Sky before it moved to Brisbane.

yeah, make sure you take plenty of spending money....try to work out how much you plan to drink each night, and try to make a budget for how much you'll need approximately for drinking expenses. Then decide if you're going to buy anything in port/duty free and add that to your budget too. if you ask me, dont bother buying the shore tours....they dont look like the sort of thing one wants to be doing on schoolies. nothing sucks more than running out of spending money on a holiday.

that's crazy! I thought they sold out aaages ago? At least that's what the travel agent told me when she thought I wanted to go on the schoolies cruise. hahaha...you're a toolie....u must be really old for the schoolies cruise if it's to be your 4th! are you a guy or a girl??

hey

im going to be 20 on this cruise, which isnt too bad since most school leavers are 18...
there were probably more girls to boys than 3:2 actually...
i would advise all schoolies not to get off at noumea... its an expensive hole.... vila is amazing tho... pity this year dont go there...
originally both cruises were on the pacific sky, only 1500 person capcaity, and when they moved to the sun, there were 800 spots to fill, which they nearly did, but lots of people have pulled out since the bad publicity over last years cruise (it was a close mate of mine who caused most of the trouble, but he was on teh second cruise i was on first cruise)... when theres 60 days to go heaps of people pull out cos thats payday... and these schoolies cruises are the most expensive ones out of the entire season, cos they dont offer discounts.....
and they make a stack at the bad but absolutely nothing at the casino....

ill probably end up going this year..... just for the waterslide...!!

theres nothing finer than a p+o liner...

believe me!!
nothin beats the schoolies cruise, and i mean nothing.......

hehehe....the water slide sounds awesome :D:D:D that's the bit I'm looking forward to most...heheheh...I'm going with two friends who've never been on a cruise, so it'll be fun for sure :) Noumea wasnt actually too expensive if you knew where to go. I admit it was a lifeless hole, but we walked around for the hell of it and found these mad markets with really cheap jewellery. We went back to the ship for lunch, and then after, my friends went back off the ship, and I went to the side of one of the decks and read a book and fell asleep.....heheheh...and freaked out when I woke up to find my view of the port replaced by nothingness and sea. My advice to those who get off at Noumea is to steer clear of the public toilets...even if you've paid, there is a chance that the automatic door will decide to open while you're still inside your cubicle.....hahahaha.....my friend still gets paid out about that to this day!

If nothing else, get off the ship and get your passport stamped so you can have a funky stamp from another country on your passport.

Do they still have bingo games on during the schoolies cruises? They are awesome....when I went, on the last game, the jackpot went up to $3500....and some dude from bathurst won it....needless to say, he was very generous at the bar later on...heheheh

http://www.pocruises.com.au/html/vrx_pacific_sun.cfm click on the pool tour, and u'll see it. the funnel isnt actually going to be blue and red.....that's the colour of the Carnival fleet's funnels...but they're re-doing the paintjob and refurbishing the ship....in short, the funnel will be ble with yellow writing. But yeah....u can see the slide in that video clip

Noumea is a hole where the ship docks.......to enjoy this place u need to catch a cab and go to the other side of the island,,,,,,,as i've been told there are nice sections,,,,,,,,and if u've watch the mole in paradise, its set in Noumea and it seems nice.....where the ship takes u is the cargo area, so its industrialised and full of cheap looking shops......my dad asked one of the staff people on the ship y p&o go to noumea basically evey cruise if no one like's it.......he said its the cheapest place to re-fuel the ship..........so basically p&o don't take u there cause its a tropical island they go there to save some money!!!!!!!!! don't worry all the other ports are excellent...........i've been told isle of pines and mystery island are one of the best,,,,,,,,,,,and as for poum i don't really no cause its a new port but it souds nice being part of the worlds laregest lagoon!!!!!

the isle of pines is one of the most...actually, make that THE most...amazing place I have ever been to. Pure white sand on the beach, so fine and soft it doesnt kick up everywhere when you walk.....gorgeous, clear water, and really really friendly locals. I wish my cruise was going there again :(

i chose the second cruise cause i've been on a cruise before and it visited two of the same ports as the first one and only one of the ports on the second.......i've heard they have had problems on the second one but it seems to me tht if u stick out of the problems they won't effect u as it seems 2 be fights over girls............ which suburb is better........i think if u ignore it and go about your buisness it want change the experience.............p.s. personally i think tht any1 who enjoys fighting over those things r just lame!!!!!!!!honesty who cares were you live......and if u need to fight ova a girl shes obveously a hore,,,,,,,,,so fuck her and move on!!!!!!!!!!!!
