Let this be a lesson to anyone who disobeys the primal instinct to fill the tank (American capitalism may collapse the next day etc)

oil price is $ 90 a barrel now and its still the same at bowser as it was $ 130 a barrel :(

The Australian Dollar has gone down significantly... but I think petrol should still be cheaper.

Was in qld the other day. Petrol was $1.30. Was in hay western nsw the other day, petrol was $1.85. Also that $1.30 was in toowoomba. 2hrs down the road it was $1.55.

But the positive relationship between the Aussie and crude prices sheltered us from higher pump prices when crude reached record highs in July.

You can't have it both ways.
