How would I play the F notes in the left hand between 0:35 and 0:42? I love how it's the perfect mix of staccato and legato and I'd love to play it like that cos it adds a certain effect to that theme, which I really love. I followed the pedal and the staccato markings on the score, but I can't seem to replicate it
Any tips on pedalling + how to strike those F notes to achieve that effect? The sound that I'm trying to achieve can be more clearly heard from the F played at 7:18
Also, how would you guys tackle the monstrous variation of the main theme starting at 3:11?
I'd also like help on the section between 7:31 and 7:43. How would you guys play the mismatching polyrhythms of the left and right hands (i.e. the sets of 7-against-3, 10-against-6) etc.? I'm fine with 2-against-3 but these more complex ones are really hard.
No rush btw, I've made less than stellar progress on my three assessments during these holidays and better get cracking
