Hey every1!
This is a question 4 any1 who has done the PIP before. How do u make sure ur focus question is not too broad or too narrow. And in the CM the research questions we answer are they just branching off the focus qustion?
Its kinda confusing.

Focus question: the depth of this is generally measured by how much research you are inundated by. Your teacher should give you a good indication of this, but if there is not enough secondary material on your focus question, this is a clear marker that your topic may be too narrow. However, this doesn't always mean your primary methodologies won't turn up a lot, and this is what matters.

Research questions: kind of like breaking down the focus question into smaller, manageable questions. Having research questions helps with the logical progression of your Central Material, i.e. how you will structure your chapters.
