I'm a level 2 driver over 24 months, i'm on $11+ an hour, plus the per del rate, and I use the ute most of the time.

Also I have just been made crew trainer soo... I get upto $250 a month bonuses, then you take away the great tax advantages... i've no problem with it

man, i think pizza deliverers should get heaps more. i mean, take last night for example... it started to flood, my windows had fogged up and everyone had their high beam lights on so i couldn't see a bloody thing.
now... that's dangerous!

its a job that's dangerous AND pays badly!

A new store is opening near me and i was thinking of applying. What are the rates for an 18 year old ? base rate and delivery rate ?
also, do many people give you tips ?

well... i'm 17 and get 9.44 an hour and then there are three delivery zones
Zone A = $1.28 (somewhere closeish)
Zone B = $1.60 (somewhere a bit further)
Zone C = $1.80 (a little way away)

and then there are tips... i normally get tips if I compliment their houses lol
but yeah, mate, it's worth it... except if you have a car that drinks petrol. you'll probably be out of pocket a bit...

yeh i do pizza delivery but its good cos u get 2 use the businesses car which is the new sxi barinas so they go ok... n u get cash in hand... plus u get a free feed n n drinks everynite its not bad n also its italian foood mmmmmmmmmmmmm i like .... gonna quit sooon n work at a bar... fun fun... but hey del drivings is dangerous n also the cops love us
i got dun 4 rollin through a stop sign 238 fine, 3 points
a mate got caught doin 120 in a 80 zone. n also crashed the car..
so yeh its good n bad in sum ways

i'm currently working at woolies, but i would sure as hell prefer driving around in my car and living the SBS pizza life. how many deliveries do you make any hour? i'm getting a little ahead of my self though, still gotta get my Ps... and a car... i failed the first test cos i got 88 (i had no lessons), and just then go back from being refused cos the pissy little side indicator bulb was out which i didn't notice. as soon as i left i went to kmart, bought the bulb, waited in line, popped it in, fixed altogether in 10 minutes! at least i get another go tomorrow...
