OMG! Someone so lucky in my school! He gets $2000 in cash for getting a scholarship! Fark! I could have spent that cash on so many things.

Don't be sad :) We're all good in our ways, including you. I bet you're better than most people in the writing compartment ;)

Thank you very much, Faytle and Kujah.:) Awesome results, Faytle? Well, I could have done better.
Sadly, I'm not Mary Dunn, of Bonne Terrer, MO, had a vocab of 3800 and an IQ of 185 at 28 months, or anything particularly like that, nor am I quite an idiot-savant.:(
I get paid $8.50 per hour, but I'm 16. It's $6.90 for under 16s.
My pay is pretty horrible compared to the majority of others that I've heard of actually.

(edit: oh and I usually work 9 hours per week, but extra shifts for holidays.)
Thanks for sharing.
It doesn't seem to bad, that wage of yours; isn't that higher than the pay at Maccas, KFC, Hungry Jacks, and a vast majority of the prominent fast-food chains?

And oh my, tutoring? I think they'd be better off reading a textbook than try to learn from me ;p!
Well, since you're now in Yr11, you can always tutor those in lower grades than you.;)
Could music tutoring be a possibility for you, Faytle?

If you were in JRAHS, I'd say you'd be able to tutor maths alright, because they do go ahead of the syllabus.

Fark, how can you can get 99 in Science?

Again, thanks, Kujah.

Oh well, I'll try next year and kick all y'all asses. :p
Oh, you'd like that wouldn't you?
Well, fine then! Let the affable rivalry begin!^_^

Fat chance. Off.;)

More encouragement?

Um I did okay...excluding maths, which i never expected a fantastic result in considering how terrible i am at it, and furthermore, i'm taking general maths next year. Oh and Geography i didn't recieve an outstanding result for (not that i care as i am not taking this subject next year)Anyhow, my results are as follows..

English 94 (6)
Maths 75 (4)
Science 91 (6)
Geography 83 (5)
History 92 (6)
Computer Skills 93 ('Highly competant')

So yeaaaa...maths is clearly the major blight on my record, however, i reiterate; i am hopeless at maths and will be taking General next year..

Haha, ccc123 you're one-up on me. I got a 79 in Maths and there's no way in hell I'm doing it next year. :p (Wasn't really planning to in the first place, but then it clashed with Ancient History, and well, there's really no competition there for me.)

Haha *hi 5 Jachie, thank god there's someone out there who's not a bloody maths genius. And i am in full agreement; maths and Ancient running on the same line..there's sure no competition there!

Congrats on your results, everyone, and - more importantly - happy holidays. :D

I haven't got mine back yet, because that's because I didn't attend the ceremony, haha. A friend told me that I ranked (top 3) in a couple of subjects, so I'm not too worried. And count me in as someone who didn't do too well in Maths (I'm predicting about a band 4?), but doesn't really care. I am taking 2U Maths next year, but I really want to drop it in favour of... well, anything else.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to do medicine/science at uni if I don't take any maths at all?

Well, Maths is assumed knowledge for Med, and probably science (I'm not so sure about science; no relatives I know do it), and it is preferred that you take Maths. If you don't do it, you're a bit behind, but you can always do the course, by undertaking a bridging course for about a fortnight or so.

Apparently, also, 4U English is highly preferred for Law at UoS.

Med...*sigh*. How ambitious of you, appetite!
Congrats with your topping of subjects.

Happy holidays, seasons greetings, and have a happy new year, all.
Also, to those Vietnamese/people of Asian decent, enjoy Tet/Chinese New Year/whatever.

English - 94 Band 6
Maths - 99 Band 6 (2nd in grade hehe)
Geo - 97 Band 6 (Top 15 - 20??)
History - 95 Band 6
Science - 93 Band 6 , (thought i stuffed it)
Computer - 92 ... pretty bad considering every one who sat the test in my school.
I'm green with jealousy of this guy's math mark; otherwise, I've really got nothing to be jealous about.

Ah, Kujah's marks are as follows:
English (97) Band 6
Maths (95) Band 6
Science (94) Band 6
Geography (94) Band 6
History (99) Band 6 (So close :))
Computing Studes (95) Highly Competent

Nice, indeed! Nicely done.
