Does anyone have predictions for history ext!!
There is no point predicting anything for ext lol - stimulus is way too exact and important. Just focus on getting 4 historians memorised for constructing history, not sure what other option you do but it'd be good to have at least 4 in it

This is for q1 -- you only study four? so one per paragraph?
who are they? Just asking because I'm; not sure if I should study like the twenty historians + debates + issues for q1 I have now or just keep it simpler.

Besides, Ext is not really a predictable subject BUT, for q2, I am vibing something method related because they haven't asked about it in a while. So it obviously depends on the cause study you do.

Do you think the second question will be a two debate question?? And even if isn't should I just make my essay focused on 2 debates? My teacher hasn't really went through two debate type questions so im kinda worried about it

I reckon its just gonna be an easy to what extent does debate in history change historiography or some shit, probably not those words but its just my guess. For that I was planning a debate per para so doing 4 debates (discovery of new evidence, reinterpretation of what is evidence (pretty much archaeology for my goat Cleopatra), politicisation, and revisionism (feminism)

Keep it way way simpler, if you just have 4 historians that you know in depth (as well as the obvious name droppers), drop them in 1 per para (I aimed for 4 in the trials) and incorporate at least 1 provided source per paragraph (I aimed for both in each paragraph and it worked very well for me in trials also) then your pretty set and its way easier. As for who they are entirely depends on who your teacher taught, one you got over your Thucydidies, Herodotuss Rankes and Carrs your teacher should have taught you some (usually more modern), my teacher did like 6 and I just picked my favourite 4

Ok, I get it, sounds good. Just going to study a few more in depth.
I do Cleopatra too, but your debates are different from the ones from the Syllabus?

Ive said this very very wrong, Im not talking about the debates to do with Cleopatra's areas of debate (for which im doing role as phaoroh and gender and identity) Im talking about the question being about historical debate (which is a complete guess), as in differing or competing historical perspectives, for example
Q. Explain the reasons for different historical perspectives in TWO areas of debate in your case study.
My teacher said its up to personal preference on whether you do an area of debate per paragraph or just incorporate them which is what I did. When I was talking about debate I was talking about the different historical perspectives bit not my areas of debate

That makes sense now. Yeah, Its probably easier to incorporate them into paragraphs and just keep making reference to the areas of debate.

For question two, is there any possibility they will ask for THREE areas of debate? Our teacher only taught us two.

NESA will never do that according to my teacher who happened to write two Modern History books. "The day that happens, the whole history community will go up in arms"
I'm taking Ms. Blackman's word on this... (Her Russia text book is the best)
