Mate the thing is we have 2 active 4U teachers at my school, 1 of them is an excellent teacher but has unfortunately not taught the subject in over 15 years. The other one hasn't taught it since 2007 and that teacher is my current maths teacher.

I don't know if anyone will try the subject tbh lol

My school takes the top 70-80 too my school isn't even selective

Like idk what they're gonna do for my year, there are literally no available 4u teachers. I'm still gonna do it cause i didn't put in all this effort to not do it, plus i really need to drop business.

REALLY GOOD. My chem teacher is superb, english is funny and insightful, engineering is cool, maths is meh (i dont even need my teacher for maths tbh), physics is fantastic and business is really good but i dislike the subject..with a passion...

Chem- fresh uni grad who has only taught the hsc once so far
Phys- old fart who hasn't taught the subject in like 6 years

English - fun, nice, but not good at giving good feedback
Maths - good. straight to the point
Phys - funny, awesome
SDD - meh at teaching, but a fun weird person, tooooo many tangents - it takes ages to get anywhere
German - good but a bit bad at organising lessons and things in general

It's a rarity, i've never had more than one good teacher per year.
I must be blessed to do well in the HSC

I have mostly awesome teachers. My maths teacher is great at finding ways to explain concepts. My physics teacher inspires me to think deeper about the world itself. My chemistry teacher teaches us everything we need to know, and teaches it well. My english teacher is extremely passionate about his subject, and can amaze you with the deep meanings behind texts. My business teacher, well she's pretty normal, but gets the job done effectively.

My engineering studies teacher, however...

He's persistently late to every class, seems to be lazy in general, doesn't cover the full content of the course, and is the only teacher who can teach engineering studies. He does have redeeming qualities: he cares a lot about his students, and really does want the best from them. I'm dropping engineering next year and he was devastated when I told him.
