For preliminary the best thing to practice is with some papers that your school has set a few years ago. I do it in the subjects I want to go well in or struggle at (so almost all the subjects :p... wanna go well in haha).

But making notes and doing practice questions from textbooks will suffice and get you pleasing marks depending on how well you remember.

Besides... my preliminary end of year exams aren't until week 9 (and I'm focusing on my maths acceleration/maths trials right now)... I guess my preparation would be making notes, being ahead of class and the half yearly practice? hehe
