There will always be monarchists, like that Jonothan A person...Then there will be republicans. Until we can be assured that our country will be better as a republic, being under the monarchy is working fine...for the moment.

I really don't think there'll be much of a difference under either system, as the Queen has rarely intervened in Australian issues, and the GG makes all the decisions, 'all' being 2/10 of fuck all anyway. But the Queen's accent just shits me to tears, so I lean towards the republican side of the debate.
