thanks cyan_phoenix; it didnt occur to me not to turn up in uniform [id only been told not to wear the yr12 jersey]. i get the impression people have done that before..?
and thankyou to maryjane too, i had a feeling it was far-fetched but checked just to make sure
ive a friend whose older sister does psych so i could possibly get them through her.
now looking at my fat book on undergrad studies for mac and arises another question - the degrees of bachelor of arts and bachelor of arts-psych are slightly different, yet wouldnt they be the same- you major in psych in both of them[or at least i will with BA]? the BA-psych says here its APS accredited, but the BA isnt..does that mean you cant be a member, or cant be a recognised psych full stop? i just want to choose the path that will lead me to becoming a registered psychologist-!
also, to become for example a school councellor, ive been given mixed messages-do you do a degree/diploma as well ? like, would i be able to do BA psych, and the dip in ed be towards working in a school ? or does that just mean you can work in a primary school, and the postgrad you do after is what will determine your type of psych, be it school councellor or whatever..
would it be possible/easier [its got a different name, so i presume, as usual
] if i dont get the marks to do say, get into BA, do units that would contribute as much as possible towards a BA, and after a year do graduate dip in psych, then honours..? oh the choices, and im so indecisive.
thanks again for all your help, prepare to have more questions thrown at you closer to the new uni year
[or tomorrow- cant think of any right now]. must be off to cram ahem study a whole new sub for tomorrow..
i really need to change my study habits
