Yeh... those two are quite low.. can't believe they're lower than English Advanced, considering the workload of each :/

The workload of Physics and Chemistry isnt that great, it is also easier to get higher marks in tests for phys and chem, as compared to the nearly impossible task of getting really high in English.

Can't say I agree with you there... just a few practice essays and you should be set! :D

I thought that too before, but then i realised that the reason for my not so great marks in english was because i did no work throughout the year.

i think its easier to get good marks in say phys/chem because although there is a lot to know, it is merely a test of how well you know your syllabus dot points, whereas subjects like english, its all upto your own personal interpretations and whether or not the examiners will like your writing style, and how well they feel you fill their criterea, which can be very hard to guess, whereas chem and similar subjects you can sorta guess what you need to write, keywords, etc, that will get you full marks.

It's hard to argue which one is easier and which one is not.

let's just say I do all Chem, phy, and English

I basically found that they are all hard to achieve good marks :D

What's so bad about Chem... so far it's really interesting/confusing.

Most of the languages scale better than the sciences... so just pick a new language to learn... it's not that hard... :p

You mean jumping off a cliff, and them being hit by a bus? Or jumping off a bus off a cliff?

not necessarily. beginners course tends to not scale too well.

Either one, they arent hard to do. Well jumping off the bus before it goes of a cliff could be hard though.

I was leaning more towards the extension courses... seeing latin and ancient greek up amongst the scaling giants, I made a generalisation :D
