hey guys, im just wondering for anyone who has made or is making a film for extension 2 english, how did you find actors?

was it hard or easy?

where should i go about looking if i need a couple?

do u mean professional actors?
if ur schools big enough mayb some ppl doing drama?

Ask your drama department in your school. Chances are you'll be able to find some to help you. Try for year 11 students, as HSC students are just as busy as you are.

Local theatre groups are a great way of finding actors. Most area have some form of youth theatre group where you can find actors.

Ask your friends, particuarly if their good performers, or even good at speeches.

Dance academies as well may have actors. A lot do both acting/dancing.

Professional actors is going to be harder, and it costs a lot. I wouldn't recommend this.

Try some of your friends to start out with, I used my friends and they turned out to be fairly good actors, you never know until you try. And the plus is that they'll be more willing to help you and would be more flexible about when they can help
Have a go first, if it doesn't work, then have a look into the drama students
