only do that when you can be 100% sure that there can be no consequences..and even if you graduate and do that, tehre will be someone who will try f'ck you up coz they think you hold those views.

no but as a course co-ordniater...what are their powers? like what if they created difficulties signing, hiding behind rules and regulations? e.g. oh you cant graduate, you havent done these subjects yet according to the new course strucutre etc.

Yeah, but if I've done my 400 hours of work placement and satisifed all other requirements for my degree, she has to graduate me. Otherwise I will take it up to higher levels - the person who is in charge of tourism or even the vice challencer!

vice chancellor? i don tthink she deasl with small issues liek this and most often will sid ewitht he uws employee than a student. probably the school head or whatever the name of the highest tourism person is.

question guys - you know the unit evaluations - are they meant to be compulsorary coz the way our MPW lecturer was talking they are, but we never did one and our last tute for the semester was today...? just curious to know coz our tutors...hmm put nicely...a bit of a weirdo

The survey's are supposed to be compulsory ... maybe you will do them in your lecture instead. Most of mine have been done in the lecture.

haha lol i hate em...coz no one seems to take em seriously so it seems kinda pointless.


yeah i think maybe our tutor just forgot coz ou rlecturer said we'll be doing em in our tute and we're in the auditorium for our lecture so i dont c us doing it then..

ah well...i problywouldnt have anything constructive to say about it anyways coz i guess how well you do in your exams and stuff kinda changes whether you liked the course of not lol

Actualy, they are pretty useful. Last year, we complained on ours about having 3 final exams in the last teaching week of uni. Now this years tourism students (sorry guys) have to have their exams during the examination period.

I guess it depends on the subject and the courses as well.

there are 2 surveys/evaluations. one is for the unit itself and one is for the evaluation of the tutor. it depends, last year there were hardly any of them except in a couple, now there are like for all the units ive been doing so maybe they are taking it more seriously this year.
although ive never taken the surveys seriously unless the unit was crappy e.g. marketing and the room availabilities.
cape are you like delirious? fun? i hate having to colour in the boxes, why couldnt they just make do with ticks/crosses? and they dont give you suffiecint time to think up anything to comment on unless the unit has given you big hassles so satisfactory units usually get off pretty well.
