Pearls!

White and red are very distinct colours, i wouldn't want to add anything gold or silver to it. Pearls or something plastic (you know, like the plastic Marcs range).

hmm...heres an idea....
white shoes like the ones lindsay's wearing in that pic (there' probably a name for that but i don't know it and i rckn my wide feet will definately fit in them) and white bag, but what jewellery to wear with white and red?

Red and white is worse than red and silver imho - sorry! It just screams "santa claus" to me.

You could always go for the classic black points.

Yeah If It was me I'd go for the black points instead of white, I'm not keen on white shoes and bag with a red dress.

Red and white together on an item of clothing is fine, but I'm not a fan of a red and white outfit, especially if white shoes are involved. Warm reds like the colour of her dress look much better with warmer metallics as opposed to silver, imo.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

black shirt, black tie with red pattern of some sort. or just plain black tie.

or you could always wear a white shirt and black tie, theres nothing wrong with simple sophistication.

or you could get those silvery grey shirts, and a funky tie.... by funky i mean classy..... no red santas on it....

i'd go with white shirt, and a tie that has red or (insert whatever coloud your date's accessories are) details

oh and i've decided (considering said formal is 2morrow) that i'm going to be wearing black shoes, black bag, bronze earrings (w/ diamantes on them) and bronze necklace. can't find a bacelet for it and can't be bothere to look anymore
