Anyone know any good related texts to accompany the crucible? (preferably not 'The Scarlet Letter' as many people are already doing that)

These are actually from a list my own friend has sent to me, no idea where she got them from, so if you find them somewhere else credits there, but here:
*Themes are in asterisks.
*Witch-hunting*
- The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid/Mira Nair (novel/film)
-The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini/Marc Forster (novel/film)
-Burial Rites by Hannah Kent (novel)
*Transgression and Redemption*
-Lord Jim by Joseph Conrad (novel)
-Schindler's Ark by Thomas Keneally (novel)
-Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg (film)
-The Fiftieth Gate by Mark Raphael Baker (non-fiction)
-The Shoe-horn Sonata by John Misto (play)
-Atonement by Ian McEwan (novel)
-Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti (poem)
-The North Water by Ian McGuire
*Power and Justice*
-Anil's Ghost by Michael Ondaatje (novel)
-The United Kingdom by Amma Asante (film)
-The Justice Game by Geoffrey Robertson (non-fiction)
-Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson (novel)
-The First Stone by Helen Garner (non-fiction)
-Joe Cinque's Consolation by Helen Garner (non-fiction again. the rest are too, I think.)
-Statement to the Knesset by Anwar Sadat, (1977)
-An Australian History for Us All' by Noel Pearson (1996)

Howl by Allen Ginsberg is my number one recommendation:
(just search it up to find it, it's free to access and everything)

- it's a poem so finding quotes and techniques are super easy
- it's written at almost the same time critiquing the same failing social structure
- it made me cry.... so you know

(it might be hard to understand for some people but because it's such a well recognised poem there are lots of resources to draw from in understanding it including this line by line analysis that also identifies context, themes and all that good stuff: search: Owlcation Analysis of Poem Howl by Allen Ginsberg Andrew Spacey)

This poem made me fall in love with poetry aaannnndddd get 24/25 on my English Adv multimodal.

Hey, that sounds really good. I was wondering if you could lend me some of the notes you made as I am currently struggling to find a relating text that fits well and is short (TT). Thank you so much!!
