So can everyone give 1 point?
Cause it said I had 10 points from 1 vote, then I got another vote, but I still had the same amount of points, what is up with that?

The influence you can exert on another member's reputation depends on a number of factors. :)

Votes of certain types of users, and of users who have met certain criteria, will have a greater effect.

And you just love the suspense you cause by not telling us what that criteria is, eh Laz? :p

is there someone that shows the ranking of phrases?

like if someone has a phrase saying "on a distinguished road" compared to someone who has "is off the scale", whos got the higher rep?

distinguished road is higher

there's also 'unknown quantity at this point' which is lower than off the scale

Hmmm i think vBulletin has some document on this reputation system. Some of them is quite obvious like "is off the scale" if you noticed the icon for reputation below your avatar it's essentially a scale, so if you're off the scale then basically you have zilch all reputation, i.e. 0 :p...

Thats weird... the upload a new one should be underneath where it says "your current av"

I can see everything. The only thing that's confusing me is this reputation thing, I don't get the point.

My guess is that its supposed to be used to reward people when they are helpful. Kind of like a gold star system.

Thats my guess :cold:
