ive cheked d cp...where do u chek 2 c who rep u..? and i got only 10 points..i have 'a distinguished road'
Yeah, a few factors contribute to how many reputation points the person gives you. One is post count (supposed one more reputation point weighting for every 1000 posts) and another is their reputation level. Again, I am not sure about whether the length of time the user has been registered for affects their weighting.Atotoi said:I see!!!
Do the "reppers" reputation points given to you depend on their status??
I remember having like a 2 point rep from someone, then "Fry" repped me in a thread i created and i got like 6!!
It is usually right at the bottom, but because no one has given you reputation yet (you start off with ten points) you won't see it.lesmiester_dj said:ive cheked d cp...where do u chek 2 c who rep u..? and i got only 10 points..i have 'a distinguished road'
before i was on 10 rep points and i was 'on a distinguished road.' i guess that contradicts part of your rep system.withoutaface said:shameless behaviour in the past

You actually start off as "off the scale".santaslayer said:That's what everyone starts out with..."distinguished road''...
With the amount of rep abuse going on - highly unlikely.t-i-m-m-y said:is there a correlation between post count and rep?
Really? Every post that I have read abut the system seems to say that you get more reputation weighting the more posts you have?sunny said:With the amount of rep abuse going on - highly unlikely.
Repping is used for noting a user's contribution to the forum. A user with high reputation should have:Komaticom said:Under what cirumstances do you rep others? Just curious.

the people with lots of rep seem to be those people who hang around in non-school, spend lots of time on BOS posting in random threads and when they say something stupid- they get repped by others....
I spam sometimes and don't get repped down
I post useful things in bio/physics don't get repped up
