in another thread, 2 people changed their avs, they were very different but with similar colours. i couldn't tell the osts apart when i was reading them, funny how the mind worls

From what I have gathered, people accumulate excessive rep points by:

1. having "you rep me and I'll rep back" (or similar) in their sig (despicable, but effective)
2. posting up helpful resources (eg, baby_doll, and to a much lesser degree, myself)
3. pwning someone everyone hates with witty posts (eg, tatooed_guy)
4. having a hilarious avatar or sig, or posting some hilarious, not offensive.
5. posting an interpretation that is popular philosophy amongst members.
6. posting helpful or insightful stuff, like this post.

I consider my analysis to be moderately reliable.
