Yeah thats what my tutor (who marks hsc) says generally happens with english. However, they will often check papers that have been given the marks at the band cut offs to make sure they fit within the band descriptions - if not, the raw mark cut offs are adjusted accordingly.

i got 25/100 for english :p, i didnt even try

and 109/120 for 2U maths :D

60/84 for 3U Maths :)

thats all i got back ... havent really gone to class this week :rolleyes:

English Ext 1: 49/50 (2nd)

Economics 92.5/100 (2nd)

Japanese Beginners: 97/100 (1st or 2nd)

M. History Got it back! 96/100 (1st) (Phew...thought i screwed this.)

History Extension: 43/50 (4th)

Latin: 90/100 (1st)

So I'm happy...except for history extension, which I hate.

i put these marks into SAM and got a UAI of 42 and i need a UAI of 82 so yeah i'm pretty much stuffed

Those are raw marks.

SAM takes aligned marks, your aligned mark will genrally be higher then your percentage (and different schools have different marking scales)

98 for Math ext and eng ext
97 for physics and i coompletely bummed out on chem and got 92 :(


I'm hoping my chem hasnt affected my UAI. Im aiming for high 80's... Is this going to be possible.


Te average For most exams was around 50 for the rest of the class

nice work, thats a fantasic effort
only 2 of my subjects hit 85 in the ass mark i think...n most of the others are struggling to get above 75...very inconsistant...
everyone else on here is so smart. im jealous of you all

wow, i admire you for doing it twice, i dun think i would have the will power, but true that. i'l prolly shoot myself if i wasnt getting decent marks the 2nd time round
