If I were to be applying for a part job at say, Bunnings or fast food etc, would it look bad if my resume objective/aim said that I wanted to pursue a career in the I.T industry?

Would it make the employer think I have no interest in working in whatever field they may be in eg. Retail etc?

i doubt they'd expect you to have a life long career with them.

If you have no intention of working with them for a long time you might as well just leave off the objective. And as above poster said, most people wouldn't.

Only include information that is relevant to them. If your objective is not related to that field, then there is little reason to include it.
